You've received a Blind Spot Sensors kit! Let's unbox and get the system set up! The installation should take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the wheelchair and your experience with our system.

Step 1: Power all components (2 minutes)

Step 2: Familiarize yourself with the system and make sure it works as expected (8 minutes)

Step 3: Demo board setup (if portable display needed)

Step 4: Installation on chair

Step 5: Check cable management and sensor view (10-30 minutes)

Instructions:

a) Use the velcro ties and adhesive cable mounts to manage the cables properly.

b) Ensure the cables do not interfere with any tilt, recline, or elevation features. Make sure nothing is obstructing the sensors' view.

c) Ensure the cables are neatly routed and will not catch on anything when the client is navigating.

Congratulations! You've successfully completed installation of the Braze Blind Spot Sensors. When you deliver the product to the client, make sure to:

a) Go over page 4 of the User Manual (see below) to show the client how they can use the Controller to switch modes, and use the various feedback modalities.

 

b) Hand over the User Manual to the client so they can refer to it as needed.

c) Feel free to book 30 minutes or more with us for virtual assistance during installation and/or delivery - we are happy to help!
