Dr. Pooja Viswanathan, CEO and founder

Dr. Pooja Viswanathan has a passion for improving accessibility and independence for people with physical disabilities. She has completed doctoral and post-doctoral research in robotics and assistive technologies, and has been working with smart wheelchair technology for over a decade. Pooja is an expert in knowledge translation and commercialization and acts as a consultant to many Canadian networks and organizations. She has received awards and scholarships from the following organizations:

NSERC, Google, Precarn, Alzheimer’s Society, Ontario Brain Institute, and the AGE-WELL Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE), University of Toronto, University of British Columbia

Alex Mihailidis, co-founder and principal scientist

Dr. Alex Mihailidis is an internationally recognised researcher in the field of technology and ageing, having published over 150 journal and conference papers and co-edited two books.

He is very active in the rehabilitation engineering profession and has been the President for the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society for North America (RESNA), as well as a joint Scientific Director of the AGE-WELL NCE.

Alex is a scientific advisor for Braze Mobility, using his expertise on ageing to help develop innovative and client centered technologies. Learn more here.  

Graham Browning, Product ManagerGraham Browning has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and has expertise in product design, prototyping, assembly, and product testing. Graham currently leads product development and overseas manufacturing and is passionate about creating designs that maximise ability and independence.

Madeleine Rawling, Customer Support and Sales Lead Madeleine Rawling has a Master’s degree in Management of Innovation from the University of Toronto, and extensive experience working with people with physical disabilities. She leads communications and customer support, as well as sales and marketing.
